Siege of Fear

Having grown bored in his palace on Qward, Shade had decided to lay siege to a random city on Earth. Why Earth? He found their fear the most delicious, and the fact that he has remained in the shadowes for far too long. He had fully recovered from his fight with Alex Scott six years ago.

Arriving on a coastal city around the middle of the night, he began his siege by firing energy blasts at City Hall, apartment complexes and twenty-four hour stores all across the city. Shade knew that the only hero's in this city were all cooped up in Titans Tower. Maybe they'd provide himn a challenge, but He doubted it. In a mere ten minutes, the Shadowling had decimated eleven city blocks.

Shade laughed heartedly as he jumped out of the path of the blast... "You shouldnt lecture me when you've tried to kill me three times and failed each time only to make me stronger... You cant even kill a shadowling!" With that said he had streatched out and formed his usual combat construct - a serrated scythe seemingly made from human bones... Just as the construct was formed he barely managed to dodge the fist. "I'm surprised the Guardians havent gotten rid of you yet... Are they really that desperate?"

Castor had taken off from the roof of the Titan tower to fly across the city toward his suburban home and make sure there was nothing else that he wanted from there. Along the way he noticed the obvious destruction of parts of the city. He would report into his Titan Communicator what he say, the green and yellow light, the destruction, and that he was going to try and help until Ronas and Samira could get here.

Unsure of how to really fight anything like this, he opted to help civilians flee the area and create restraints and supports for compromised structures as well as move debri off others. If the battle came this way, he would deal with it then. He found the priority was to ensure that bystanders or innocents were not caught in the potential crossfire.

Shade quickly deconstructed his scythe and melded with the the shadows before the construct. Soon he'd step out of the shadow belonging to one of the citizens, who was running for their life. Grabbing them by the hair he'd pull the woman in front of him and hold her by the throat... "Do you know why I chose to terrorize this planet, Alex... I find the fear you humans produce the most... delicious..."

His fear-inducing aura was obviously affecting everyone around the battle ground... It was evidence by how clearly when woman was trembling and crying. The only person who had full immunity was of course Alex Scott. Strands of Yellow energy began to flow off the the woman as he began to feed.

Nyx would have a look of fear come across her face as her ship began to lose control near the planet she was told was called earth. Red lights flashing rapidly inside her ship before she gulped, her tails wrapping around her body, a loud crash could be heard as she felt her body bounce and fly out the shit, laying on the gravel, her kimono ripped up from the cement ripping through it, her tails protected her for the most part, but she had a few minor cuts, she opened her eyes up, forcing herself upwards, the cuts slowly beginning to heal as she said, "Guh...Where am I now..." Her tails curling behind her, her white hair covering her face for the most part until she began to move it aside, her sword hanging on her back a soft white glow coming off it. She looked around seeing a few trembling life forms she figured where what she was taught called, "Humans".

Shade's glowing yellow eyes widened as he saw the emerald swarm. His first reaction would be to use the girl as a living flyswatter. If this didnt work he'd drop the unconscious (and possibly dead) girl to release a combination of both a light burst and a ground burst in effort to neutralize the swarm...

He'd spot the crashing craft behind Alex... "You win this one jackass..." He said as he melted into the shadows yet again, "I have other matters to to tend to.." With that said the yellow light disappeared from the shadows as he had obviously moved away from the location.


A shadow darkened in front of the craft as Shade stepped out... His aura still pulsing as he had just gotten out of a combat situation... Spotting the craft, the shadowling would move closer, his eyes getting brighter.

Nyx's ears would twitch lightly as some light began to form around her so she could see, "Who's there..." Nyx said. Her eyes shifting across the darkness before the light went out, her sword still glowing a soft white as she took a few steps forward, "It's not polite to try to sneak up on a woman..." she knew someone or something was there, but she just didn't know what or where. She saw the yellow eyes, but she figured it was some form of bug and dismissed it.

Castor runs over to where the craft crashed. He had at first thought that it was a plane, but seeing as the only person that was initially this tailed girl with a sword he was a little relieved. The sight of Shade's eyes appearing from the darkness in front of the the space craft made a shivver up his spine. Something felt really off and bad about that entity.

Castor jogs over toward Nyx. "Hello? Are you okay?" He keeps his distance. Castor was definantly not Human and neither was Nyx, nor Shade. Down the street from where he had approached is full of trees supporting crumbling buildings.

Castor keeps looking over at where Shade is, pretty sure that the person giving off that type of aura must be the problem behind much of this.

Shade held his ring up to Castor... "Step away from the ship, plant, unless you want to be sheered..." With the meer thought a pair of pruning sheers would be constructed out of the yellow light... He kept them pointed towards Castor, ready to snip off his head should he move closer to the ship, or did anything to stop Shade from leaving with the creature inside the ship.

Would sigh a bit at the sight of a yellow light. She pulled out a melted crown that seemed to fit perfectly to her head. Placing a hand on her sword she said, "I'd recommend both of you to relax or I'll separate those pretty little heads from those pretty little shoulders you two have. How does that sound?" she held a demonic grin as nine tails wriggled about behind her, her ears twitching to just about every unknown sound at the moment.

Castor's expression of concern simply fades as he's threatened and moves off to the side away from the ship to review the situation. He decides that if the space lady wants to pick a fight with everyone, that he may as well leave the two that want to fight to do so until the rest of the team arrives. He could do more good by ensuring no others are nearby to be caught up in the potential carnage than by getting his noob ass pwnt by some guy who can make sheers out of whatever that is and a pissed off fluffy alien.

He just sorta updates the Titans on the situation and his location on his Communicator otherwise, hoping they aren't too busy to help.

Shade deconstructed the sheers and turned to face the organism that climbed out of the ship. He had felt her potential to cause and spread fear, panic and paranoia. "As for you... I request an audience on Qward. All you have to do, is come with me..." Shade kept a close eye on Castor to make sure he didnt give away their location.

Nyx sighed and rolled her eyes, "I suppose. But I garuntee you...Any funny business and you'll be part of a head of walls mounted above my throne..." she looked over to the man who walked away and said, "Hm....He was a smart one.."her eyes going to the man that was as dark as a shadow as she waited for a response.

Castor just stands off and uses his communicator to ask if Ronas or Samira are going to be able to help him because he has no way of stopping what's going on here from his assessment of Shade's power at the very least.

He sets the communicator back on his belt and presses the button on the top that he was told to press to take pictures. Letting the Camera on the communicator take pictures of the two others that were over there as well as the ship.

He looks over into the street behind himself to make sure that it was for the most part empty. He certainly wasn't going to engage the two of them by himself. That's for damn sure.

Shade would have smiled if he had any lips or a mouth even. However he'd use his rig to form a construct strictly for space travel. Stepping onto it he'd offer a hand to help the strange creature out of the ship and onto the construct. Once she was on board he'd look over at Castor, as he closed the construct, and making it take off like a rocket towards Qwardl.

Nyx would laugh at the offer and jump into it on her own free will saying, "Im in no need of help...But one moment...I don't need someone using my ship now do I?" she smiled a bit as she formed a ball of wind in one hand and ball of fire in the other, mixing the two she tossed it at her ship saying, "Fox fire...Cyclone..." with that a massive cyclone of fire would surround her ship and with a few minutes turn it into a smoldering pile of molten metal.

Castor continued to press the button on the communicator to take pictures occasionally.

He took a defensive stance when Nyx made those elemental manifestations. He held up his arm to shield his eyes from the twister of fire that consumed the ship before looking back at it and taking another picture of the remains...

There wasn't really anything he could have successfully done by himself about any of that. He's just too weak to have faced either of them.. He guesses that's why he's on a team.. wherever they are. He looks down at his communicator, wishing Ronas or Samira had answered. He heads back toward the partially destroyed city and sighs, guesses he should see if there's anything else he can do. Then again, people are probably just as mad at him for sticking a tree in the middle of the street to support the lop-sided building because it had one person hanging from a window in it.
